Weight-loss / Detoxing Smoothie

Starting the day with a protein rich, super food smoothie is perfect for weight loss and detoxing the body.  It kick starts the metabolism, balances blood sugar levels, keeps you full for longer, is nutrient rich and most importantly it is quick, easy and tastes delicious :)


  • 1 Handful of frozen berries (organic is best)
  • 1 Handful of baby spinach (organic is best)
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of lecithin granules
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon of 'Herbs of Gold' green power protein 
  • 300 ml of fluid of choice e.g rice milk, almond milk, cashew milk, water (note you can play around with this amount to suit the consistency that you prefer i.e. thick or not 
Simply blend all ingredients together.  Ideal to consume straight away or if you are time poor put it into a take away shaker container and take it on the road with you. No more excuses for skipping breakfast
